After-School Club

Ashmount children have the opportunity to attend the Sunshine Kids Zone After-School Club which runs in the Hornsey Lane Estate Community Centre, just across Ashmount Road from the school site, every weekday from 3.30 - 6 pm.

The Club offers a wide range of activities each day, as well as internet access, board games, Playstation, giant Connect 4, and quiet space for homework.

Ashmount pupils who attend the Club are collected from their classes at the end of the school day and taken to the Centre in a supervised group. By prior arrangement, individual children can be collected later from other after-school activities on site at Ashmount (school clubs or music tuition) and taken to the After-School Club for the remainder of the afternoon session.

Optional snacks are available at no additional cost. Children can choose frompasta: tomato, cheese or plainjacket potatoes: cheese, beans or plainpizza or garlic breadseasonal soup with chunky breadhot dogs (including hala hot dogs)toasties or sandwiches: cheese, ham, chicken or plainmixed fruit and crispy salad
Juice is provided at all times. Alternatively, parents and carers may provide children with their own snacks.

The Sunshine Kids Zone After-School Club is run by the Hornsey Lane Estate Tenants' Association. The Club's Lead Worker, Candy McCarton, is also a Teaching Assistant at Ashmount. We are delighted that Ashmount pupils have access to such high-quality after-school provision.

Charges

Standard: £5.50 per child per day
Concessions: £4.00 per child per day (proof of benefits is required)

Payments for the whole term should be made in full at the beginning of each term. For the odd session a deposit of £15 is required. Sibling rates available on request. All rates are inclusive of activities, snacks and provisions.

For late collection of children there will be an additional charge of £5 for every five minutes the parent/carer is late.
